Thanks to a substantial investment from the Department of Conservation and Recreation, the pool has been completely rebuilt — new basin, new deck, new parking lot, and a new roof on the facility structure. It’s the same beloved community pool, transformed.

We’re Finalizing Our Opening Date
Construction is wrapping up and we are thrilled with the result. We are working to confirm our official opening date and finalize summer programming before we publish registration. We expect to have details available later this month — June 2026.

What to Expect
A Brand New Facility
Hall Memorial Pool has been completely rebuilt — not renovated, not patched. This is a ground-up reconstruction made possible by DCR’s investment in our community.
A Brand New Pool
The pool itself has been completely dug out and rebuilt from scratch — Olympic-sized, with improved accessibility including new entry steps. Intentionally designed without a deep end or diving board to maximize safe, open swim access for all ages.
Swim Lessons All Summer
We will be offering structured swim lessons throughout the summer across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Lessons will be available to register and book once our opening date is confirmed — pricing details coming soon.
Community Access
Hall Memorial Pool has served the Stoneham community for generations. The new pool, deck, parking lot, and facility roof represent a major investment by DCR in this community — and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.
Splash Pad Update
The splash pad at Hall Memorial Pool does not currently have a confirmed opening date for the 2026 season. We are actively working through some operational requirements with the Department of Conservation and Recreation and are not yet in a position to commit to a timeline. We hope to have an update soon and will share news here as it becomes available.
A Note on Swim Lessons
Each summer we typically open Hall Memorial Pool in mid-June with two weeks of free swim safety sessions — a community tradition many families count on. This year, with the pool opening no sooner than June 22, those free opening-week sessions will not be running as planned and we apologize for the disruption.
The good news: we will be offering structured swim lessons all summer long — beginner, intermediate, and advanced — available to register and book once our opening date is confirmed. These lessons will be offered at a standard fee. Sign up below to be the first to know when registration opens.
