On select Friday nights, the Club stays open late just for our K–4 kids, with the whole building open, a new theme every night, and activities you won’t find in the regular after-school day.

The Club, like they’ve never seen it.
Friday Night In is a special evening program that gives our K–4 members the opportunity to experience the Club in a different way.
On select Friday nights, the Club will remain open later than our regular after-school program and offer special themed games, activities, and experiences that are not typically available during the structured after-school schedule.
The entire facility will be open for participating members, allowing them to explore different program spaces and take part in a variety of activities throughout the evening. Each Friday Night In has a seasonal or themed focus, with activities planned specifically around that theme.

Each night has a hands-on project built around its seasonal theme, and kids get to make something of their own.
Stay Late at the Club
Special games and activities that aren’t part of the structured after-school schedule.
Four Nights. Four Themes.
Each night is its own registration. Sign up for one or all four.
Kids will make their very own colorful, kid-friendly potions using fun ingredients and decorations.
Kids will have fun designing their own colorful snowflakes or festive ornaments.
Kids will have fun making and preparing small gifts to share with others while learning the importance of kindness, generosity, and spreading a little extra love.
Kids will plant their own seeds, get creative, and learn how to care for their plants as they watch them grow.
How It Works
Register Online
Pick your night above and register in RecDesk. The $15 is paid in full at registration. You’ll also complete a short K-4 Event Participant Info form for your child.
Drop Off at 6:00
Bring your child to the Stoneham Clubhouse at 15 Dale Court. From there, the evening is theirs, with our BGC staff.
Pick Up at 8:30
Come back at 8:30 PM to pick up your child, and probably a potion, a snowflake, a small gift, or a seedling too.
Good to Know
Who can come?
Any child in grades K–4 for the 2026–27 school year can register.
Do parents stay for the evening?
No. Friday Night In is just for the kids and our BGC staff, and parents and guardians don’t participate. Drop off at 6:00 PM and pick up at 8:30 PM.
How much does it cost, and when do I pay?
$15 per child, per night, paid in full when you register.
Can my child come to more than one night?
Yes. Each night is a separate registration, so sign up for as many as you like.
When does registration close?
At 9:00 AM on the Wednesday before each Friday Night In: Oct. 14, Dec. 16, Feb. 10, and Apr. 7. Each night is limited to 50 kids, so it may fill before then.
What if I missed the registration deadline?
Email us at info@bgcstoneham.org to see if there are still spots available.
What if the night I want is full?
Once a night reaches 50 kids, you can add your child to the waitlist when you register.
Is there any paperwork?
Just one short form, the K-4 Event Participant Info form, which you’ll fill out as part of registration.
