Registration for 2026–27 is designed so you sign up once and you’re set for the whole year. Here’s how:

1. Choose your school and track using the cards above and click any registration button.
2. Add all four programs to your cart — September, Fall Session (Oct–Dec), Winter Session (Jan–Mar), and Spring Session (Apr–Jun). Use the + button in RecDesk to add each one.
3. Check out — but watch your payment selections. For September, check “Pay only security deposit of $50.00” instead of the full amount. For Fall, Winter, and Spring, check “Pay Later” on each. Your Amount to Pay Today should be $50 per child before you submit. If it shows more, go back and correct those selections.
4. Set up AutoPay to have billing handled automatically each month on the 15th.

Avoid the monthly hassle. With AutoPay, your stored payment method is charged automatically on the 15th of each month for the following month’s balance.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of September registration to secure your child’s spot. This deposit is applied directly toward your September balance — it’s not an additional fee on top of tuition.

If the track you want shows a waitlist, here’s what we recommend: join the waitlist for your preferred school track for all four sessions — September, Fall, Winter, and Spring — and register at the Stoneham Club at the same time. This guarantees your child has a great program from day one, with bus service running daily from all Stoneham elementary schools.

On your chances: The waitlist is more active than it might seem. Historically, the highest turnover happens over the summer as families move, change schedules, or make other arrangements before the school year begins — meaning many waitlist spots open up before September even starts. That said, it is a year-round revolving list. Spots continue to open throughout the fall and beyond, so joining early and staying on the list is always worth it.

When a spot opens, we contact waitlisted families in order. If you are offered a spot at your preferred school site, we will work with you to make the transition — and your $50 deposit will carry over, so there is nothing additional due at that time.

Yes — transfers are available on a request basis and subject to availability. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your request to be reviewed and processed. We will follow up with you directly once a decision has been made.

No. Your enrollment forms are completed once at checkout and apply to all registered sessions for the entire 2026–27 school year. You will not be asked to fill them out again for each session.

If any of your child’s information changes during the year (medical, emergency contacts, etc.), please notify your Site Coordinator in writing so we can update your file.

We accept Child Care Resource (CCR) vouchers issued through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Please do not register or pay online. Instead, email billing@bgcmetronorth.org with your voucher information. Our team will verify your voucher and manually complete your registration.

If you don’t yet have a voucher but think you may qualify, visit mass.gov/ccfa or call Child Care Circuit at 978-686-4288.

Yes. We offer limited financial assistance for families enrolled in our licensed Child Care & Enrichment programs, made possible by our generous supporters. Priority is given to families who qualify for a state CCR voucher but do not yet have one, as well as families near that eligibility threshold.

Funding is limited and reviewed on a rolling basis. Completing an application does not guarantee assistance.

Your monthly charge is simply your daily rate multiplied by the number of program days your child is scheduled to attend that month. Because school calendars vary — some months have holidays, vacations, or conference days — your bill will not be the same every month.

You are never charged for scheduled school closures (such as holidays and vacations) shown on the school calendar. Fees still apply for unexpected closures, including snow days or other emergency cancellations. Monthly totals are calculated in advance and billed on the 15th of the preceding month so you always know what’s coming.

On early release days, elementary schools dismiss at 12:00 PM instead of 2:40 PM. Our program begins at dismissal and runs until your regular pickup time. An additional fee of $18 per child applies for each early release day and is automatically built into your monthly billing — there’s nothing extra to register for.

• Canceling before a monthly installment: No charge for that month. Your child’s spot will be released.
• Withdrawing mid-month (after a charge has been processed): Two weeks written notice is required. Refunds are not issued after a monthly charge has been processed.
• Not registering for a future session: No penalty, but your child’s roster spot is not held and will be offered to waitlisted families. Returning to the program later is subject to availability.

Every day is designed to give kids opportunities to learn, move, create, and connect. Examples include:

• STEM: Hands-on projects that encourage curiosity and problem-solving.
• Arts: Drawing, painting, crafts, and creative projects.
• Recreation: Indoor and outdoor games and sports skills.
• Leadership: Group activities that build confidence and teamwork.
• Homework Help: Dedicated quiet time with staff support every afternoon.

Monthly fees are charged based on your registered schedule, not actual attendance. You are responsible for paying for days your child is absent due to illness, appointments, travel, or any other reason.

If your child will not be attending on a given day, please notify your site at least one hour before the program starts. Failure to notify counts as an unexcused absence. More than three unexcused absences in a month may result in termination of services.

Parents are responsible for picking up their child at the time selected during registration — either 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM at school sites, or 6:00 PM at the Club.

• Late pickups are subject to a $1.00 per minute fee beginning at your scheduled pickup time.
• At 5 minutes past your scheduled time, staff will begin contacting you.
• At 30 minutes past, staff will begin contacting your emergency contacts.
• If your child has not been picked up within one hour and no contacts can be reached, local authorities may be called.

Late fees must be paid by the end of the following business day. Repeated late pickups may result in removal from the program.

Children enrolled at the Stoneham Club are transported each afternoon by chartered school bus from their elementary school to 15 Dale Court. Transportation is provided by Bedford Charter Service, Inc. and is included in the daily rate.

Safety measures:

• BGC staff meet children at school dismissal and supervise boarding.
• A trained bus monitor rides along on every route.
• A walk-through check is completed after every trip to ensure no child remains on the bus.
• Monitors carry any required emergency medical equipment (e.g., EpiPens, inhalers) for each child.

Transportation is one-way only (school → Club). Parents must pick up by 6:00 PM.

If your child will not be riding the bus on a given day, please contact the Club before 1:00 PM.
